Auzielle. Motoring festival review: 5 days of intense travel

The Studio 7 ship returned to port after 5 days of intensive travel accompanied by its fleet of volunteers. This year too, the public was at the Auziellois event with a new attendance record.

The marine theme was respected both in the decoration and in the sound and light atmosphere installed for the occasion. An army of sailors provided service each evening with local catering and a soup bar operating at full capacity. The team responded with these eleven films in a preview, a breakfast film and a newly bistronomic quiz in a boisterous atmosphere. The latter was a great success, participants were able to test their film knowledge and enjoy the gourmet food on offer. On the film side, the European program itself was very popular with the audience, the viewership was very high. The opening and closing screenings, accompanied by their now unmissable buffets, were well received by film enthusiasts who came in large numbers. The order was very close until the end and hundredths of a point had to be counted to determine the winner of the audience award: it was therefore a German film.Teacher’s Room’, which won. Soon you will have the opportunity to discover it on the poster of Studio 7. The jury of seven volunteers selected from numerous applications had a lot of work with the works presented during this 7th year. They discussed a lot, it caused debates, but in the end they agreed to award this jury prize. Their choice fell on the magnificent Turkish film “Dark Night in Anatolia”, which you will have the pleasure of seeing soon on the program.

The results of this 2024 edition are therefore very positive and encouraging for the Studio 7 team and for cinema. This enthusiasm for almost unknown films, which the distributors were so kind to share before everyone else, is a real sign of interest in this theater and the production of Art et Essais.
